John J. Rizzo III

John J. Rizzo III is owner and president of Rizzo & Associates, PLC.  John has been a staunch advocate for seniors throughout most of his career, and is widely recognized for his innovative approaches to helping seniors obtain Medicaid eligibility to pay for nursing home expenses.  A caring, empathetic individual, John tries to help each person that contacts his firm.  John received his law degree from the University of Detroit and his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami-Florida.  He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and regularly speaks on elder law topics.

Jeffrey Wingfield

Jeffrey Wingfield has practiced law since 2004 after a career in law enforcement. In addition to elder law, Jeff practices in personal injury, dog bites, employment law, contract law, and family law. Jeff is actively involved at Central Methodist Church, is a Cherry Festival Ambassador, and plays softball on several local teams.  Jeff has two undergraduate degrees from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, and Florida State University, and has his JD from Barry University in Miami, Florida.

 Deborah Rysso

Deborah Rysso has practiced law with Rizzo & Associates, PLC since moving to Traverse City in 2004.  Deborah is active in the Traverse City community; she is a member of the Bay Area Senior Advocates, local Parkinson's Support Group Board, local Bar Association's Board of Governors, is president of the local Women Lawyer's Association, and has taught as an adjunct professor at Northwestern Michigan College. She has completed the arduous ICLE Probate and Estate Planning Certificate Program and is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.  Her law degree is from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and her undergraduate degree is from the University of Michigan.
